Apart from this, we have observed certain French, Dutch and Portuguese architecture in certain part of the country. And the list goes on and on. Here on the occasion when entire nation is celebrating its 75th independence year, let us also figure it down to the post independence phase of architecture and its development that India has witnessed. But before that, we have to understand the pre-independence practice in the field to understand that how that development became a stepping stone for the future.
